The Brincliffe Consort

Formed in 2007, the consort performs a wide range of repertoire from opera, operetta through to secular and sacred choral music.

It is formed of members from Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield and Derbyshire who have many years experience in choral, operatic and theatrical settings as well as members who are semi-professional and professional singers from further afield.

The consort formed to raise money for 'The Lost Chord Scheme' at the inaugural concert and will continue to make fundraising one of its priorities.

Repertoire includes Rutter, Elgar, Faure, Stanford, Parry, Sullivan, Handel & Adam.

Recent guest performers have included, Mathew Knowles (Trumpet), Nicola Mills (Soprano), Zoe South (Soprano) & Deborah Norman (Soprano).

The Brincliffe Consort  is directed by Australian répétiteur & accompanist, David Barnard.
